A LITTLE ABOUT WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

An insight into Andidrain and our services.

THIS IS WHO WE ARE

Andidrain was formed in 1990, originally as a sole trader, then partnership and later as a limited company.

Originally focussing on drain clearance within the Cumbrian region, we have grown organically over the last three decades and now operate throughout the UK, providing a wide range of quality industrial services, utilising a diverse, modern fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment, with a highly trained and experienced team behind it.

“Our mission from the onset has been to provide a high quality, cost effective service to individuals, industry and commerce. Our main objectives are to establish long term relationships with our clients and to ensure that quality, safety standards and protection of the environment are of the highest priority. Our clients can be assured of the interest and offer of practical advice and personable, dependable service.”

THIS IS WHAT WE DO

Andidrain have extensive expertise and equipment to carry out a variety of specialist cleaning works.

This includes work at Wastewater Treatment Works; wet wells; drains; culverts; industrial plant; anaerobic digesters and decommissioned gas holders.

Our equipment types range from compact Jetters, delivering up to 36,000 psi, through to a range JetVac Combination Tankers from Muller and Kaiser, most with recycler technology; together with a large fleet of High Air Flow vehicles from DISAB that are capable of lifting materials and effluent from depths of up to 100m.

Andidrain carry out a comprehensive tankering and liquid waste disposal service.

We hold a national operator’s licence for goods vehicles and are an upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer, registered with the Environment Agency.

Dedicated tanker units augment the rest of the fleet, with capacities ranging from 14,000 to 29,000 litres, providing a cost effective and reliable service to our customers.

Andidrain specialise in carrying out high quality investigative surveys of wastewater infrastructure, including drains, culverts and chambers.

We use WINCAN reporting software and were one of the first organisations in the UK to successfully publish data using the Highways Agency Drainage Data Management System (HADDMS).

We operate a modern fleet of CCTV units using the latest equipment and carry out man-entry confined space survey work, using our own experienced and qualified personnel.

Our innovative equipment line-up includes a specially constructed rough terrain CCTV unit. Based around a  Kawasaki Mule Pro-DXT side-by-side utility vehicle, the wheels have been replaced with caterpillar tracks, resulting in reduced ground pressure but giving increased traction over uneven ground. Working with CCTV equipment specialists, iPEK, this unit is equipped with a 500m long cable reel, giving extreme flexibility when working in remote, rural locations.

Andidrain are one of the largest independent UK operators of D:Max mobile screening units.

Frequently used at wastewater treatment sites during tank cleaning operations, working in conjunction with our high volume DISAB vacuum suction units, their use can see significant reductions in the volume of material that would otherwise be sent to landfill, with liquid being extracted from the base material for return into the works, and solids separated into grit and rag, with the potential for recycling or reuse.

THIS IS WHY WE DO IT

Throughout our 30+ year history, Andidrain has been committed to providing a service of the highest quality to its customers.

Beyond this commitment however, is the ability to actually deliver, a success story that can be witnessed through the strong, steady growth that Andidrain continues to achieve. In large part, this has been as a result of the very high frequency of repeat business and the establishment of trusted, long term relationships with our clients who appreciate the provision of the comprehensive, personal service that we offer.
